Who's who at Head Start?

 

Teacher : Ms Amanda Tarrant (Bachelor of Education – Early Childhood)

 

Teacher Aide : Mrs Moreene Sullivan (Diploma of Education Support)

 

Staff have current First Aid and CPR certification, Anaphalaxsis Training and

Child Protection Training.

 

 

Students and Volunteers

 

The program welcomes student teachers who are undertaking early childhood

studies at a variety of tertiary colleges and universities to support them in

developing their professional expertise. We also, from time to time, have high

school students visit the program for work experience.

 

All students and volunteers do not constitute part of our staffing ratios and are

under the guidance of the teacher at all times. Prior to joining the program, all

students, visitors and volunteers must possess a ‘Positive Notice Blue Card

for Child Related Employment’.
